Rozdíl mezi konopným a CBD olejem: Co skutečně obsahují a jak se liší?

When you buy konopný olej, extrakt z semen konopí, který neobsahuje žádné kanabinoidy jako CBD nebo THC. Also known as olej z konopných semen, it is used mostly for cooking and skin care, not for any psychoactive or therapeutic effects. On the other hand, CBD olej, koncentrovaný extrakt z květů a listů konopí, bohatý na kanabinoid CBD, který má účinky na tělo a mysl. Also known as olej s CBD, it is taken to help with stress, sleep, or pain — not to get high. These two products look similar, smell similar, and are often sold side by side — but that’s where the similarity ends.

Many people think that if a product says "konopí" on the label, it must contain CBD. That’s not true. Konopný olej comes from the seeds — the same seeds you eat in salads or granola. It’s rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, great for your skin and heart, but it has zero CBD. CBD olej, however, is made from the flowers and leaves, where the plant stores its active compounds. If you’re buying it for relaxation, better sleep, or relief from discomfort, you need CBD olej. Konopný olej won’t help you with any of that.

And here’s the catch: some sellers don’t make the difference clear. You might see a bottle labeled "CBD konopný olej" — that’s misleading. If it’s truly CBD olej, it should say so clearly on the label, with the exact CBD content in milligrams. If it just says "konopný olej" with no CBD percentage listed, you’re buying seed oil, not therapeutic CBD. Always check the lab report. Legit CBD products include a certificate showing what’s inside — not just "konopí," but actual CBD, and nothing else.

Think of it like this: konopný olej is like olive oil — healthy, natural, good for cooking. CBD olej is like a vitamin supplement — it’s there to support your body in specific ways. One feeds your skin from the outside. The other works from the inside to calm your nervous system. You can use both at the same time, but don’t expect one to do the job of the other.

And what about THC? Konopný olej has none. CBD olej legally must have less than 0.3% THC in the Czech Republic — so no high, but sometimes trace amounts remain from the plant material. That’s why some people feel a subtle effect, especially with higher doses. But if you’re looking for something completely non-psychoactive, pure CBD olej is the way to go.

When you start comparing products, you’ll notice something: the price difference is huge. Konopný olej costs a few hundred korunas. CBD olej starts at 800 Kč and goes up fast — because it takes kilos of plant material to make a small bottle. If something claims to be CBD olej and costs less than 500 Kč, it’s either fake, diluted, or just seed oil with a fancy label.

You’ll find plenty of posts below that dig into how CBD affects your body — from sleep to skin to stress. Some talk about HHC, CBG, or edibles. But before you dive into those, make sure you know what you’re holding in your hand. Because if you think you’re buying CBD and you’re actually holding konopný olej, you’re wasting your time — and your money.
